Basic Pizza Dough Recipe
Ingredients:
2 1/2 tbsp of fresh cake yeast or 1 1/2 tbsp of active dried yeast
1 cup of lukewarm water
pinch of sugar
1 tsp of salt
3 1/2 cups of plain flour
Serves 4
1 Warm a medium sized mixing bowl by swiring some hot water in it. Drain.Place the yeast in the bowl, and pour on the warm water. Stir in the sugar, mix with a fork, allow to stand until the yeast has dissolved and starts to foam, 5-10 minutes.
2 Use a wooden spoon to mix in the salt and about one-third of the flour. Mix in another third of the flour, stirring with spoon until the dough forms a mass and begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
3 Sprinkle some of the remaining flour on to a smooth work surface. Remove the dough from the bowl and begin to knead it, working in the remaining flour in a little bit at the time. Knead for 8-10 minutes. By the end the dough should be elastic and smooth. Form in to a ball.
4 Lightly oil a mixing bowl. Place the dough in the bowl. Stretch a moistened and wrung-out dish towel across the top of the bowl, and leave it to stand in a warm place until the dough has doubled in volume, about 40-50 minutes or more, depending on the type of yest used. (If you do not have warm enough place, turn the oven on to medium for 10 minutes. Turn the oven off. Place the bowl with the dough in in the oven, leave it in there to rise.) To test whether the dough has risen enough, poke to fingers in to it. If the indentations remain, the dough is ready.
5 Punch the dough down with your fist to release the air. Knead for 1-2 minutes.
6 If you want to make 2 medium pizzas, divide the dough into 2 balls. If four individual pizza, divide the dough in to 4 balls. Pat the ball of dough out into a circle on a lightly floured work surface. With a rolling pin, roll out to a thickness of about 5-7 mm in. Place in the a lightly oiled pan, folding the extra dough under to make a thicker rim around the edge.
After that you can top it with anything thing you want to top it with.

Ripstiks
If you've ridden a ripstik you will know how fun they are. I got in to ripstik when my neighbour had a baby sitter looking after him and his sister for the school holidays. She brought around two ripstiks for them to ride. Now with a ripstik you can't just get on it and ride it, it takes a lot of practice to be able to ride it. It took me a long time to learn how to ride a ripstick.
With ripstiks, you can't ride them like a skateboard. It's really tricky to get the hang of it. You need to put your left foot on the front part of the ripstik and then you need to do one quick push of with your right foot and put it on the back part of the ripstik, and then you swivel.
I've learn't how to wheelie and turn around at the same time and I can do wheelie's on both wheels. Me and my sister share a red ripstick and my two brother's share a blue one.

My Drawing
At first I thought that scenery drawing would suit my style of drawing but where I live there is not a lot of nice country.
For a while I didn't do much drawing but when I got back into it I tried drawing objects around the house, I was alright at it but I didn't enjoy it. Then we got a free DVD on how to draw cartoon animals and I found it really fun drawing them. So the next time I went to our local library I borrowed a book called Action Cartooning by Ben Caldwell.
I found it really good and so now a draw cartoon people. I still do a little bit of scenery drawing but not a lot. If I had a choice of doing cartooning for a job or scenery it would be pretty hard for me to pick between the two.

Pride & Prejudice
I really like the 1995 P&P. I really like the actors in it. Elizabeth is played by Jennifer Ehle, I think she does a great job at acting Lizzie. Colin Firth plays Mr Darcy and like Jennifer I think he does a splended job at acting him. But my favorite person in this version of P&P would have to be Mr Bingley, he is just so knid and cheerful all the time.
And then there's the 2005 P&P. Keira Knightly plays Lizzie, personally I think she giggles to much but she does a great job. Matthew Macfadyen plays Mr Darcy and he does a good job too.
But I think my favorite version of Pride & Prejudice would be the 1995 version.

Sense and Sensibility
Over the last week I have been reading Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. I didn't think I would get very far with it but I'm about a 10th of the way through it. This is the first Jane Austen novel I have ever read.
It is not the kind of book I would like to read all the time, but it is a nice book. My favorite characters in Sense and Sensibility would have to be Colonel Branden and Elinor Dashwood. I like Colonel Branden because he is so kind to the Dashwoods, especially Marianne Dashwood, but he is kind to everyone. And of course Elinor Dashwood being the main character who couldn't like her, but I like her because she is very sensible.
But I also love Edward Ferrars who is not at like his brother, sister or his mother who are all very rich and proud. They were all expecting Edward to marry a girl with great fortune and they were also expecting great thing from him. But when Edward met Elinor he fell in love with but being engaged to anther lady he could not marry but they do end up getting married in the end which is all that matters.
