?!?!?!?!

I don't know what to post about!!

I guess I'll just post about sport. Coming up to the semi finals in cricket makes each game we play very important. We have one more game to play until the finals, it's making me very nervous. Although we had a great week of cricket this week, in U/14's we absolutly slaughtered them!!! They had to get 178 runs and we got them all out for 15!! That's a huge win, so we went for the outright win, but we fell short of that by two wickets. In U/12's we made 305 runs, (we broke the Junior Cricket Association record!!) I made 25 runs not out. I was very pleased with that, (it's my personal best).

We will be starting hockey in about 2 weeks, (training). Still waiting to find out what grade they want us in.

Now it is a Sunday afternoon and it is so hot outside!!! Thankfully we have an air conditioner. Oh, there is some bad news, THERE'S ANOTHER COLD IN THE FAMILY!!!!! We are doomed!! Ok, its not that bad, but with all the sport and everything, its not good. Please pray that it doesn't go through the family. (We were also planning to go for a holiday next week and its my little sisters birthday next week).

I'm Here

Sorry I haven't posted that much lately. I guess you could say I haven't been in the mood for it. But since I'm sitting on my bed at 7:10am and there is no one else up except my little brother who is playing on his iPod Touch, I might as well do a blog post.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a happy New Year. I did. I got books, a mini pool table, pool toys, lollies and other things too. We didn't do much over the New Year. I also went well with that song I was performing with Naomi and Elise. I was very surprised at how much everyone enjoyed it.

We start cricket again this week and.....I'm believe I'm playing CB. I think it will be a close game.

I have been enjoying the pool so much lately. It's really nice at the moment.

This week is our last week of holidays here. I'm not really looking forward to starting school work again. I hate high school.

I can't think of much more to say. I can my little sister being fussy about how much cereal her big brother is giving her.

I just have two questions, what would you like me to post more about??
What do you enjoy?

Things

I think this is going to be a random post.

I haven't been doing much lately. We have had Annie, (some of you would know her) and her family, come and stay with us. They were here for about five days. We had heaps of fun. We went for walks, we played a lot of cricket, (including a game when CB was over at our place with his family) and Annie and I went swimming, poor Naomi couldn't join in because she hurt her toe.

Annie and her family left a couple days ago. The afternoon they left we set up the Christmas tree!!! We hadn't put it up earlier because we were having new blinds put in and the tree would have been in the way of the people who were putting the blinds up. Here is a photo of the finished product.

Sorry about the picture quality. The SD card from my camera would not connect with my laptop. Anyway, we used the colours blue, pink and silver. We usually do gold, green and red but we thought we would do something different.

To me it feels like we had Christmas just last month. The year has gone past so quickly.

Yesterday Naomi and I played U/14's, and our big brother played U/16's. Our big brother said his team slaughtered their opponent. Naomi and I also won our game. Naomi and I both went in to the game with injuries. Naomi was running on concrete the other day, and she kicked her toe against it. She bruised it really badly, so by the time she got out when she was bating she was limping of the field with her bat to help support her.

When we were warming up for the game by doing some catches, I went to catch the ball and I did something to my finger. It to was really sore and bruised, it still is very sore even though its the next day.

We have hopefully got U/12's on this morning, I don't know if it will be on though.

Well...... my stomach is growling at me so I better go fill the tank.

Voyage Of The Dawn Treader!!

I went and saw the Voyage Of The Dawn Treader today!!!!!

It was so good. We saw it in 3D. It was the first movie I had ever seen in 3D.

I found some of it a little bit freaky. But over all I really enjoyed. I'm not going to say much
because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. It was sorta new to me because I haven't read the book before.

I hope they make The Silver Chair!! It is one of my favourite books.

So it was a really fun morning. Besides the fact that the Jumbo box of popcorn that I had with Naomi at the movies broke at the bottom, so the popcorn fell around the two chairs we were sitting on. (LOL)

Wednesday Photo!

Here is my Wednesday photo.

This is a photo of a Clover flower. It was early in the morning so it still had dew on it.
I wanted to post a Christmas photo, but I had already used it in Wednesday Photo before.

Update

Here is just a quick update on what I've been doing lately.

We started school work again yesterday. I have really enjoyed the school holidays. We did quite a bit of traveling with our cricket and, we've been watching a lot of the Commonwealth Games. I love watching all the different events in the Games. Australia has a total of 143 medals, we have 64 gold, 40 silver and 36 bronze. We're doing pretty well I think.

We start cricket this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. Naomi and I are playing under 12's and under 14's. U/14's is really going to test us out, but I'm looking forward to the challenge.
Due to starting cricket this weekend, we have been practising heaps. I don't think our team is going to get a training session in, but we will see how we go.

It has been so wet where I live lately. It has been overcast and drizzly with a shower about once a day for about 2 weeks!!!
I don't mind it though.

The only bad thing about it raining so much is that it has been to cold to swim. Before it was raining so much, our pool was so nice to swim in. It was still rather cold, but it was just so nice and refreshing.

Well, that's about it. I need to do some school work, ***(groan)***.

Excitment!

Today we have our hockey finals!!! I'm very excited, but yet very nervous.

After further thought, it turns out I will not be going to the Drama workshop. :(
Although, after our first hockey game of the day we have some friends coming to visit, so that will be very good.

Recently at our church there was a Healing thing on with a guy called John Mellor. It was amazing!! John has a healing ministry. He has been to Europe, Scotland and other places too. We saw a guy who had had 5 years of non-stop headaches all the time HEALED!!! There was a lady who had had 20 years of on going pain in her back and she had been in a wheel chair for two years so the muscles in her legs were really weak, her pain went away and she got some movement in her legs. The list goes on.

You can check out John's website here.

Well, wish us luck with hockey. We will need it.

Wednesday Photo

Ok. Here are the rules

1.Take a photo of something really cool, random, unique, interesting, etc..........

2.No copying other peoples photo.

3.Title your post "Wednesday Photo".

4.Be creative.

5.You have to have your photo on your blog by the end of the day if you want to enter.

6. The winner of this week gets to judge next weeks "Wednesday Photo".

Monica is this weeks judge.

I'm posting Annie's photo, Tully's and mine since Monica can not view their blogs.

Here is Tully's.

Here is Annie's. (It has been edited on Photo Shop)
Here is mine. I was cooking last week and this is a photo of butter, golden syrup and sugar. I thought it all looked rather interesting together with the different colours. I also like it because all the ingredients are different. The butter is hard, the syrup is like a liquid and the sugar is like sand.

Another Update

Ok. Naomi and I lost hockey on the weekend. That is a good thing though. It means that our team has a better chance of winning the semi finals this weekend which therefore gives us a good chance on making it to the grand final. Last weekend we played the best team in the comp. We only lost 2-0, and one of their goals shouldn't have been allowed.

We went to church yesterday. We were there for a little longer then usual because the church computer was playing up and our Dad was fixing it up. Yesterday afternoon we played a little bit of cricket with our neighbour and another friend. When everyone got sick of that we started to play soccer. That was really fun. Then we did some goal shots. Naomi and our neighbour were the best goalies of the day. I was absolutely shocking.

And now I'm on my bed, with Naomi beside my still waking up and my little sister trying to get us to help her find her 'Dory Book' as she calls it, but it's really called Finding Nemo. This afternoon Naomi and I have hockey training, we are expecting it to be really full on with the semi finals approaching.

Another Update

I hope you guys aren't getting sick of these updates.

Over the last week we have been playing a lot of darts!! I'm getting better and better each day.

I played hockey today. My team won 1-0!!! We are really happy about that. Naomi and I only have 2 weeks of hockey left this season. This season I've been looking around for a stick that I could buy next season. I think I've found the one I want.
It's called the Mazon Fusion 1000. You can buy it in black or white. I would probably get it in black.

The cricket season starts soon too. We are not sure what age group we are going to play in though. My big brother who plays in U/16's says that Naomi and I have the size and strength fit for U/12's but he says we have the skill for U/14's. At this rate we will be playing U/14's but we are going to ask our coach from last year and see what he thinks. Here is a picture of the cricket bat I want to get.
It is called the Kookaburra Blade!! I really want to get it for this season because the bat we've got now isn't the best bat to be using in U/14's. Naomi and I have a cricket trial next week. We are a little bit nervous but we will do well.

My big brother has just got back from flying one of his remote controlled planes. By this sounds of things the prop snapped.

This has turned out to be more of a sport update hasn't it??

What's Been Happening

Here is an update on what I've been up to lately.

I've been doing my usual amount of school work. Lately in my maths I've been working on geometry. I haven't been enjoying it a whole lot but it's OK. I've lately started a high school English book because I'm not that good when it comes to punctuation and spelling. I haven't been doing a lot for history lately but I think I will need to do more next week. I had a big science test on Friday. I got 27 out of 30 questions right which I was rather pleased about.

My hockey is going well. I didn't go to training on Monday because I was sick but I was all better and right to play today. My team was versing the best team in the comp and we lost 4-1, usually they bet us by about eight points or so, so our team was rather pleased with the outcome of that game. I scored on half time so the goal didn't count, I was a bit disappointed about that but it can't be helped.

Today I went up to my Grandparents house with my dad, my little brother Tully, my little sister and Naomi to bring our big brother home. He had been staying with our Grandfather while our Granny had a little holiday.

During the week my brother Tully bought a dart board. It is really awesome. It took me a little while to get the hang of it again but by the end of the day I had mastered it, but I still have the odd time where I throw the dart and it misses the board completely. (LOL)

Naomi and Tully also made a little cubbie sort of thing. It is really quite cool. It has been constructed in just the right position so it works really well.

Naomi, Tully and I have also been playing a lot of touch and tackle footy with our neighbour and another friend. We had a game of tackle footy and it was me and Naomi vs Tully and his mate. Naomi and I beat them 5-1. They got sick of the game and stopped playing. Then the next day we played another game of tackle footy and it was Naomi, Tully and I vs our neighbour and our friend. (Their always saying how good they are at footy and things like that, so we put them to the test). My team won 8-4. So that was really fun!!!

That's an update on what has been happening in my life this week.

Whats up

Today is Sunday! Usually on Sunday my family and I go to church in the morning and come back at lunch time and spend the rest of the afternoon doing what we feel like. But today only my Dad and my two brothers are going to church because everyone else is sick. We've just got a little cold.

Yesterday Naomi and I didn't have hockey because the grass fields we were going to play on were to wet. But thankfully we will be having a catch up game!!! I love catch up games because their usually played at night and it is so cool playing when it's dark and the lights are on.

Today my big brother is going up to stay with our Grandfather while our Granny go's for a little holiday. I think he's really looking forward to it.

Yesterday the poll that was for my background closed. My new background received 6 votes and the old one only got 2 so I think I will be keeping the new on. It's nice to have a fresh change every now and then.

It's a really nice sunny day here today!! There's not a cloud in sight. I love sunny days.

That's a update on what has been happening here.

North & South

I have just finished reading North & South!!!
I'm really excited because now I can watch the movie!

North & South is written by Elizabeth Gaskell.

I found it hard to first get into the book at first, I thought it had a bit of a slow start to it and the way the words are put down it took a little while to understand things but after that it was really quite easy.
I really enjoyed reading it because it wasn't full lots of romance and stuff like that, I found there was a lot more to it. My favourite character was Margret. (Well she is the heroine so how could you not like her). I liked her because I thought she was a pretty tough person, brave as well and I thought she was easy to like.

I didn't like Mr Thornton nearly as much as Margret. I thought it was really silly of him to get so upset and in my opinion sookey when Margret refused him and when he heard she was seen with another man at the train station.

I think it's really sad how Mr and Mrs Hale both die. I kind of thought from the beginning that Mrs Hale would die but I never expected that Mr Hale would die. Mr Bell was very nice. I thought he was very good to Margret when Mr Hale died, but when Mr Bell died I thought to myself, 'What if everyone dies?' but thank goodness no one else died after Mr Bell.

Another character who I like was Bessie Higgins. I thought she was really nice. It was really sad that she died too. (While I was reading the book I couldn't believe how many people died). Bessie's father Mr Higgins was nice too.

All up I really enjoyed reading North & South, (even though it is a really sad book) but it was worth it.

At the moment I'm reading Jane Eyre and after that I plan to read Rangers Apprentice. I haven't read it before but I have heard so much about it that I thought I should read it.

(I'm so sorry if the number of times I said 'died' bothered you).

Robin Hood!!!!!! :(

Last Saturday night the last episode of the BBC Robin Hood was on.
I'm very disappointed because Robin Hood DIED!!!!!!!!!

The reason why he died is because the Jonas Armstrong, (the guy who plays Robin) said that season 3 was the last season he was going to be in. So the Producer and all the other people making the movie set it all up so that they could continue the show expecting to do and season 4. But BBC decided that they weren't going to do a season 4 after they had finished season 3.

If they were going to do another season I think Archer would have been the new Robin Hood. It is rather annoying that they finished it show like that. Although I think when they killed Marion, it ruined the show a bit.

I sure hope I didn't spoil it for you. That's how we found out Robin died. A lady from our church gets up every week to do what we call announcements, and she has 2 kids who really like Robin Hood. On the night of the final episode we decided to watch something else that was on TV and watch Robin Hood the next day on a website called iview. We planned to watch it after church. But when the lady got up to do the announcements she told everyone that Robin Hood died. So that ruined it for us a little bit.

I've really enjoyed the 3 season of Robin Hood. I would of liked it if they did some more.
