I'm Still Here!

It has been quite a while since I've posted on here. I don't know why though, I guess I just haven't got round to it, although I have had plenty of time. Hockey is going well. I play tomorrow, again, but I'm very excited. I always get excited about hockey games. I had my laptop sent away a week or so ago because the SD card slot in it was not working, so therefore I was not able to put photos on my laptop. But it is all fixed up now, so I will probably be posting a few more photos now.

In less then three weeks, the homeschooling group that we are a part of here, is having its Athletics Carnival for the year!!! I am very excited. I love competing in it, its always so much fun.  I'm usually ok at the track events, however, me being very small, I'm not very good at the field events. But it is all great fun!

At the moment I am watching come AFL, (Australian Football League). I love watching it!! And I am also drawing a mini map of the hockey fields here, just for fun=)

School Work Once Again

Today I need to start school work again. We have been on holidays for the last three weeks, and then Australia celebrated or remembered on Anzac day which was Monday, so we had an extra ling weekend and now today we need to start school work once again.

I only did MathsOnline last term for my maths, my mum thinks that's enough besides maybe a little bit of book work. I was going through the small list of things I need to do for school work this term and my mum said I will be starting formal English. I haven't been doing formal English or spelling, my mum says that my blog and my history projects have been like my English.

History will probably be the same as last year. I think I'm pretty good at history, or maybe its just me. When we do history, we will read about something or someone, then we will need to go and research it on the internet and when then need to type up about it. The last project I did was about Jamestown and Pocahontas. It took me about two weeks to do it because I had to read a whole book and progress really slowed down in the middle of the project with the reading and typing. In the end I think it was a bout ten pages long. So I was pretty happy with that. (The standard project for me is only about 2-3 pages long).

I also do science. I'm not a very big fan of it. We are working on animals at the moment, so for we have down I think mammals, birds and whales. I probably missed a few there. Anyways, its 7:45am and I;m just lying in bed with my winter P.J's on and my stomach is growling at me so I betta get up.

Oh..... I almost forgot. Naomi and I start hockey again this weekend and we are playing a the water turf at night!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. I love playing at night under the huge big lights. Lets hope we win.

Holidays!!!!!!!!

I start my school holidays today!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the holidays. (Well who couldn't)

I'm probably going to go on holidays to my Grandparents house with Naomi and my brothers. I'll probably sail and eat and eat and sail, I'll fish and eat and do a lot more fishing.

I'm nuts about fishing.

Hopefully I'll get my laptop too. Here's a pic of the one I'll be getting. It's made by Apple.

I simply can not wait till I get it. I've been waiting to get one for a little over a year now.

I don't know how often I'm going to be posting. We will be taking a iPod Touch with us when we go on holidays so I will be able to post if I'm not eating, fishing or sailing. (LOL)

Ten Pin Bowling!!

Couple of days ago my family and I and other homeschooling family's went Ten Pin Bowling!

It was so much fun even though I came second last (LOL) I've never been any good at it.

We were all separated into different lanes according to our age. We had one game.

My ending score was 75.

I hope we will go there again. Even though I'm absolutely hopeless at it I really enjoy doing it.
